Oceanfront Outing : Envy Bar

I just had to post these because we had so much fun that night. I took her to Envy bar with (second time. We ended getting wasted and made it one of our Va Beach hang out spots. We met more friends that night and I was totally trashed. And it started off so friendly too just walking he strip, getting some drink, and looking for something to do. I even had Dairy Queen!!!! It WAS so pleasant. HAHA!!

Latin Fest Weekend

I only did this for me Mother. I did have fun . . . I admit!!! We ended up spending a whole evening at the Oceanfront getting drunk off our asses. Photos and more. . .

We didn't really spend much time at the festival. We enjoyed some music, had some beers, and looked at a few vendors. LOL!

Before we ate an Italian restaurant called Giovanni's . . . I think. I had scallop and shrimp pasta . . . GOOOOOOD!!! LOL! We both had amazing frozen drinks. Bad part was the bill . . . it was like $60.00. Still good!!!

We went to the festival after wards which was a smart move cause the food was expensive anyway.After that the real fun began . . . we wanted more drinks but cheaper so we went to a bar called Retro . . . not our kind of music but cheap drinks and good atmosphere. We sat there for an hour or so then we met a new friend and headed to a bar called Envy it was more of our style. I enjoyed it.

After that we headed to the beach and got our feet wet literally but we didn't care we were drunk, happy and full. We took a long walk and enjoyed the scenery and night life of Va Beach. LOL! Great Day!!

Busch Gardens: June 2010

I took a day trip to Busch Gardens with Diana since she's never been to the park. We have been planning for a while to attend Busch Gardens. We finally got around to getting to the park.

It took us less than an hour to get to arrive at the park. It was kind of crowded , which I was mad about because I spent the extra $15.00 to get quick queue access to rides. It did come in hand for some attractions. I did get an awesome deal on tickets prices the: original $55-60.00 per tickets . . . our price $45.00. AWESOME!!

Food was delicious!!!! I had funnel cakes, German sausages, strawberry shortcake, and more. I literally pigged out!!!!!!! I had a great time. I drank everything. We had our final meal in German Oktoberfest and of course I got some good beer and German food.

For rides: Griffon lived up to it's name. Such a dope ride!! Gotta sit first row to get the full effect. Apollo's chariot made me feel sick to me stomach . . . with excitement. Lochness monster created a permanent dent in m head. Alpengeist always impresses me!!! Just so fast. Definitely some good attractions and shows especially in Italy and Ireland.

Side Story: I'm currently working 2 jobs. One from 11pm to 7am then 230pm to 730pm. So taking this trip during the week took a toll on me sleep, it took me days to recover. SO AWFUL!!!!!!! I promise never again!!!! We went right after I got off me 11-7am job!! I WAS DONE!! I had to work that night.

The Pub: A British Restaurant

This restaurant is amazing!! The Pub is a British styled restaurant (the guys even wear skirts) and is located at Peninsula Town Center. It's a new place that just opened up and I'm glad we tried it because it was awesome. This is another great place Zalieka came up with this girl never cease to amaze me. LOL!

The best thing about this restaurant is the beer. HANDS DOWN! They have a drink bible. I SWEAR! LOL! It's great!!

When we entered the restaurant, we decided to sit outside because they had an open pit fire (awesome) and so we could people watch! We were given the dinner menu and the drink bible! We were like woah!!!! They had a beers from all over the Belgium, Britain, Scotland, etc. It was 4 different countries. They had a list of scotch, bourbon, wine, mix drinks, etc. The list goes on and on!

Then we looked at the dinner menu and the too was great! The had awesome appetizers! They entrees that I've never heard of but wanted to try. lol Desserts looked great too.

Appetizer: Crab dip with pita bread (DELICIOUS!!)
My entree: fish and chips
Zalieka: chicken and chips
Dessert: Apple caramel cake with ice cream
Drinks: Soda and the 5oz Beer sampler

Everything was on point!!! This place it a must try if your in the area! The prices came out great in the end. Total together it was maybe $50!

Peninsula Town Center & Purchases

Last month, Zalieka and I went to the newly opened Peninsula Town Center in Hampton,VA. To be honest, I never heard of this place until she brought it up. However, I was down for some shopping and dining so I said let's go!!

It really reminded me of Florida because of the fact it's an outdoor shopping mall. They had all my favorite stores, Aeropostle, H&M, PINK/VS, Bath and Body Works, Forever 21 etc. So, I pretty much had a blast spending all my money. ^__^ Plus, they had major stores like Macy's, JcPenny's, and a Target.

We didn't get to see all the stores because it was really cold (this was the end of April) and it was about to rain although it never did rain. Matter of fact, it was so cold, I had to buy a jacket from New York & Company which I got for $7.00 and it was originally $30.00. THAT IS A STEAL!

So, I will definitely be back again especially when they open more stores and that awesome spa. Plus, they will be opening some dine in movie theater thingy. Not sure what it's called but I will find out soon.

Mother's Day: Spirit of Norfolk

So, for Mother's day I decided to something a little different . . . a cruise around Norfolk! Great idea, right? It cost me a pretty penny . . . the tickets cost me $40.00 per person + balloons, taxes, port fees, etc. So, I ended up spending around $110 total and I was trying to budget. LOL!

Cruise was 2 hours around downtown Norfolk, naval station, and other areas. It included a buffet (salmon, chicken, rice, salad) and some fun entertainment. Lots of dancing and top 40 hits plus some oldies were spinning. Great drinks were served and there was a nice outdoor deck to sit on and see the view.Overall, we had a good time.

I was great would do it again. Set up was nice and seating was prearranged and thank god cause it was packed!! Mommies ruled the place.

WEEEEEEEE!!! I ordered it from Walmart and actually got an awesome deal! Original price is 200 (tax not included) bu I ordered off walmart.com and for . . . *drum roll* . . . $175.00. I was very pleased. It came with 3 covers, wall chargers, car chargers, etc. I broke m apple nano like I crushed it completely so, yeah we won't discuss that an further.

Trip Report: RE: Washinton D.C. (April 9-11th) 2010

This is a trip report and response to my previous post, Washington D.C. (April 9th-11th) 2010, the cherry blossom festival. Pictures and stories after the jump.

How I got there:

We left Friday night right after work! As soon as we clocked out, we made a few stops and then drove to Alexandria,VA which is very close to D.C. area. It was a 3 hour drive with a little bit of traffic on the way up to Alexandria.

Where I Stayed:

The Crown Plaza Hotel Old Town Alexandria. I can't say that checking in was a breeze. When they gave us our room key. It didn't work. Then someone else came right behind us and said it was their room too! That issue was resolved immediately.

April 9th, 2010 Friday:

We checked into our room. We received our comp breakfast coupon and metro passes. We had no other problems that night. We ordered pizza, wings, and soda! It was yummie. The room was great! It spacious with two big beds, a flat screen T.V., large bathroom with a huge mirror, and nice amenities.

How we got around:

We pretty much drove to the stations and hopped on the metro. It was just that easy. We had free metro passes so things worked out great.

April 10th, 2010 Saturday:

We ate and breakfast which was very very yummie!!!
We took the metro to D.C.! First, we watched the Cherry Blossom parade. We had grandstand tickets which were not needed . . . AT ALL!!!!! It was nice but way too spaced out. Plus, we didn't see anyone perform (Deborah Cox; Singer and Justin Guarini; American Idol). Everyone would get to our section and stop dancing and performing. WHACK!!! We couldn't even sit through the whole parade. We got up and left.

Then we went to the best part of all: Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival!

I was in total HEAVEN!! OMG!!! I wanted to eat and buy everything. I spent the entire day at the festival. It was from 11-6pm. I got on the metro at 530! LOL! I had a blast.

April 11th, 2010 Sunday:

We had another delicious breakfast!!
After breakfast, we went to Pentagon City! As soon as we exit the Metro, you enter Fashion City Mall. It was 4 levels with very high end shops like Michael Kors, GAP, Forever 21, Anne Taylor, etc. I shopped around and ate Hagaan Daaz, my favorite ice cream brand, the dolce dulce split dazzler was AWESOME! However, the customer service SUCKED ASS!

Later on, we stopped by some restaurant to order pupusas, a yummie Salvadorian dish! After that we dropped her kid off, talk to her mom, and drove back to Norfolk.

Side Story:

During the festival, I got experience Kirin Beer and Hatsakuru Sake for the first time! I did a tasting for both of these brands and truly enjoyed both flavors. However, I don't appreciate being filmed while getting tipsy. I wish I knew why dude was filming me!! T___T GRRR! I could be on someone's T.V. right now!!!

Music: Hiromi Miyake (ME LIKEY)

What can I say this chick got me hooked on her music. I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOVE her!! SERIOUSLY!! I can listen to her album straight through not even skipping a song!!!

Miss Hiromi is new and not so new to the game. She has been singing hooks and writing music since about 2005/2006. But she finally caught a break in 2008/2009 when she released her first mini-album True Colors. Later on in 2009, she followed up with Rainbow, a 14 track album, which she released the single Yes. Following that single she released my favorite song, Aisaretai, a beautiful emotional ballad.

I really hope her label doesn't "sleep on her" or forget her because she's really good! I hope to see more from her very soon. HIROMI!!! FIGHTING!!!!!

Friendly's Restaurant

Me and my co-workers went to Friendly's on, Friday, April 16, 2010, to help end our long week.
I ordered Flounder with mash potatoes, garlic bread and rice pilaf. My ice cream was 5 scoops of vanilla with Marshmallow, Caramel, and Vanilla Pound Cake toppings. It was huge! My bill came to $32.00 including tax, tip, & soda. Not bad at all.

This has go to be one of my favorite restaurant! To me it's just a great place to eat . . . okay so I'm a little bias because I'm an ice cream fanatic!!!!!!!!!!! My goodness they have the best ice cream.

Side Story:

I love it so much because it reminds me of Beaches and Cream at Disney. I think that's why I'm just so attached to Friendly's. At Beaches and Cream they have the infamous Kitchen Sink, it's so popular that Travel Channel's Samantha Brown did a special on this great ice cream. It's so hug . . . look at the picture above. It takes 3 people to finish this Kitchen Sink! LOL!

They have other amazing ice cream dishes that come in massive sizes . . . one must visit this place in a lifetime. Trust I know about it because I worked at Beaches and Cream!!

Trip Report: 2008 & 2009 Korean Music Festivals

This is a little review and dedication to the trip that inspired me to travel more. . . The Korean Music Festival.

I'm doing this post because I'm sad that I will not be going this year!! They will be having KARA and Wondergirls at this years concert!!

This festival (held at the Hollwyood Bowl, Los Angeles) is FUCKING MAJOR for people who (obliviously) LOVE korean music . . . I'm talking POP music. I'm talking SNSD, SHinee, Super Junior, Minwoo, DBSK, Big Bang and more.

This is the ONE and only opportunity for a major Asian pop music lover to see their favorite artist live and in person. Honestly, it's a dream come true because the only way to see them is to fly your ass to Korea and make it happen.

They have old and new generation artist at the festival. They have Korean vendors before the concert. Plus, the amazing fireworks at the end of the festival.

The best part is experiencing Korea-town, LA! The food, the shopping, and the traditional Korean spas.

These things make you wanna stay in LA . . . for another 2 weeks!! LOL!!

Speaking LA! The city is huge but kinda easy to navigate. I had no problem getting around. LAX was something else. lol!!

Every year, I make sure that our hotel is close to the venue ( Hollywood Bowl) and within walking distance to a metro and food.

Purchasing tickets are always hell!! I got the same seat section each time (ramp seats).

In 2008, I stayed at the Comfort Inn, which had comp breakfast and a small pool. The rooms were big and comfty. I purchased my tickets through Korea Times for 250 for 2 tickets... I think. This was our first time to LA. I wasn't even living in Virginia. . . I was in Orlando at the time doing the Disney internship.

This was honestly a get up and go trip. It was planned last minute and we ended up scrapping pennies at the last minute for this trip.

I flew Southwest and Spirit Airline (awful airline)

It was all worth it in the end . . . DBSK was there and that was enough for me!!!

In 2009, I stayed at the Hollywood Hills Hotel, the rooms was literally in the Hills. The view was amazing. The free breakfast was great. The pools were beautiful!! The hotel was japanesed themed so it was a very amazing experience. This was also the year I met Jackie!! She's so nice!!

I also saw Jimmy Kimmel Live, his vistors was John Cho (korean actor) and musical guest Flo Rida. That was incredible . . . this art of the trip was free.

I flew Southwest all the way and the flight experience was like no other. LOVED IT!!!

Smashbox Cosmetics: A Few Shots

I took some photos on my mother's birthday. I took her to Olive Garden for dinner. After we got back, I became bored and started camera whoring a bit or should I say a whole lot. LOL!

I used some of the products from the Smashbox cosmetics collection that I purchased from Sephora.

Product details and photos on the flippy.

Most of it you can't tell by photos if I used it or not because some of it goes on clear or blends in with your skin. It comes with mascara, lip gloss, a foundation/concealer, blush, and a photo finish gel.

The next kit I would like to get is the Bare Essentuals Full Kit and the Smoky Eye kit. I'm having a bit of trouble with my eye make-up.

Cherry Blossom Festival/Sakura Matsuri 2010

YAY! Another trip is being planned . . . the 2010 Cherry Blossom Festival and Sakura Matsuri Street Festival.

This festival will be held in Washington D.C. and will celebrate the exchange of the Cherry Blossoms between Japan and America.

It's the because Japanese Festival in the states and is held annually, around March/April. The festival is celebrating for 2 weeks with many events such as, gala dinner, fundraiser, parade, marathon, and a street festival.

The hotel has been booked: Crown Plaza Old Town Alexandria for $259.00 for 2 nights comp breakfast, metro passes, and free parking. I also purchased tickets for the Grandstand Seating at $17.00 per person for the Cherry Blossom parade.

I will be gong with Diana and her daughter! :)
This will be my 3rd time in the D.C. area and my first time at the festival.

I will be reviewing this trip soon. I will be there from April 9, 2010 (Friday) to April 11, 2010 (Sunday).

Enrico's Restuarant

Awhile back I went to a Greek restaurant called Enrico's.
Diana and I pass this place all the time and finally decided to try it out.

It was quiet and romantic.
NO, I was not on date but it's a good place to take someone on a first date.

We ordered the usual: an appetizer, entrees, and dessert.
The appetizer was about the only thing Greek we actually ate from the restuarant. It was an assortment of Green foods. Don't ask me the names cause I don't have a clue. LOL!!

For my entree, I had chicken Marsala and she had egg plant Parmesan. Those are nowhere near Greek. LOL!

As for dessert we ate strawberry cheesecake. It had fresh strawberries on it and oh it was so delicious!!!

OH! They had a great wine selection!!

The bill came out around 65 total maybe for he both of us. It wasn't bad at all!!

I might return again.

However, that's after I try The Orapax Restaurant. A review that will be coming in the near future.

Felini's Pizza

Yesterday night, I went to a local restaurant called Felini's Pizza. I order the shrimp pesto pizza and raspberry tea. Result: DELICIOUS!! I ate all 8 slices!!!

I also ordered a personal pizza to go because it was just that good. I had a New york style cheesecake for dessert.

That's not the problem . . . the bill turned out to be $67.00! MY GOODNESS!!

I paid for me and my friend. We got: 1 appetizer, 2 drinks, 1 regular pizza, 1 salad, 1 small pizza, and 2 cheesecakes.

That doesn't seem like a whole lot does it? It was very filling. Her greek salad was huge for a SMALL!! My pizza was great.

That bill was partially my fault. If I didn't get the extra pizza and dessert I would've saved $24.00.

So, next time just pizza and drinks! LOL!!

Yes, I'm at it again . . . another food post!!! The last Favorite Food Fab post was pretty cool in my opinion.

These post are just as fun and silly as my weekly videos!! Last post, I asked "Do people thinks it's rude to snap pictures of food while in restaurant, grocery, etc.?

My answer: NO. They might think that it's just weird. Now, if it's another persons foo then NO SHIT . . . it's extremely rude. If you're at a buffet then I would snap pictures away from the buffet or try to zoom in if you need a close up.

Side Story: Today, I went to Sonic's and ordered a Double Cheeseburger, Fries, & Pineapple Limeade Chiller. It was so GOOOOD! The Pineapple Limeade Chiller actually taste like key lime pie with pineapples. The cheeseburger was so fresh. It's been a while since I've had Sonic's and this little visit made me wonder why I don't eat more frequently at Sonic's.

California Girl Nails

Right before my trip to New York I decided to buy some false nails from Rite Aide. It was the quick, easy, and cheap solution to having fab nails before my last minute trip.

So, I bought them at Rite Aide for $5.99. The brand is California Girl. It took me forever just to pick this set out. There were many styles to choose from and I just couldn't decide which one to pick.

I ended up buying "shorties" which was a mistake. They didn't quite fit my nails. Even though, they gave me 2 different sizes to choose from plus extra nails. The just didn't really fit!

It's like they were made for people with fat finger or something . . . it was just weird.

I put them on anyway since I already paid for the nails. They didn't turn out too bad. It was good enough for the trip.

They didn't last long . . . maybe 2 days. They just started popping off and then I reapplied them thinking I didn't put on enough glue and it was still an EPIC FAIL!!!!!

So next time I will try a different brand and use more glue. I don't wanna go to the nail salon . . . to me that's just a waste of money . . . I don't know . . . I gotta find some solution.

I'm super lazy!! I didn't post that much this week . . . SHAME ON ME!!

I've been so tired because of work plus I wasn't ready for the time change last Sunday after I came from New York.

Hopefully, I'll be well rested by Monday.

I don't have much planned this weekend except my Mother's birthday . . . that is all.

I had fun in New York but it left me a little salty because of all the rain and wind. Of course, there is a good and bad to everything. The good is more trips are being planned. The bad these planned trips are SOOOOOOOOO far away!! Okay, it's more like 2 or 3 weeks away but still that's too much for me to handle. I don't know maybe it's my job <------ WHO AM I KIDDING? That is the reason!! LOL!! UGH!! That's a whole different rant/story that I will cover at a later date.

The most interesting part of my trip to New York, was the Museum of Sex! This place was cool and weird or should I say freaky, LMAO! They sold toys, books, condoms, everything you can think of that deals with sex. I think these photos speak for themselves! This is a must see when visiting New York. This was the only souvenir I purchased so don't get it twisted folks. ROFL!!

Trip Report: RE: New York (March 11-13th) 2010

This is a trip report and response for my trip to, New York (Match 11-13th) 2010, the big apple and beyond. Pictures and stories after the jump.

How I got there:

I took the Chinatown bus to New York. Checking in was smooth. I got my seat number, waited for the bus ,which was on time, then departed to New York. The trip was 6 hours long we departed at 12:30pm and got there at 7:00am. The weather was even okay.

March 11th Thursday:

When I got, I was to meet Tatianna at New York Penn Station (at Madison Square Garden). Before catching the subway, I stopped into a bakery, which I did not get pictures of (shame on me) and bought two strawberry cakes. DELICIOUS!! The bakery was called Sun Light Bakery located on East Broadway in Chinatown.

I then caught the subway to Penn Station, I had breakfast ( NASTY) and waited for the two girls to arrive and once they got to Penn Station we were on our way.

I went everywhere in New York (by FOOT) from Chinatown, SOHO, NOHO, West Village, Chelsea, Manhattan, etc. . . I was DRAINED!!!

We visited the Museum of Sex, saw the Empire state building, Korea town or Korea Way, and some more places.

This was most certainly a full day!!

Note: That is a dude in the picture. LMAO!!

Where I stayed:

I stayed in New Jersey at her dad's house. It was a small town!!! It took us 30 to walk to the Riverline (a Light-rail from Trenton to Camden).

March 12th Friday

We went to Philly this day. We kept catching the wrong trains and buying the wrong kind of tickets. TOO FUNNY! We stopped by the The Galleria mall. We had lunch at the mall. Then we got lost again . . . plus the weather was kinda bad. It was very cold and rainy.

How we got around:

I have never in my life, caught so many modes of transportation. There was the Chinatown bus, Metro, NJ Transit, Riverline, Septa, Patco, and more. I was too through . . .!

March 13th Saturday

This was my departure day and the worse day of the trip mainly due to the weather. It was raining which isn't bad but it was WINDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It was horrible. I changed clothing twice plus my socks and shoes. It was bad. I couldn't do anymore site seeing like I planned because the weather was just so bad. I was highly disappointed but there was nothing I could do.

I left at 5:00 sharp. The trip back was okay nothing bad happened.

Side Story: I almost died in Macy's! The sale people were attacking me for my money. They would eye you from across the store constantly asking can I help you . . . DID I ASK FOR YOUR HELP? SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I did not enjoy walking around New York with my book bag . . . FUCK! Sephora was my candy land. I saw them building the first Pink store in SOHO. We thought it was open . . . JUST KIDDING. Oh, EVERY store opens at 10am sharp. So don't waste your time getting up early to shop. NOT!

Co-worker Outings: Applebee's

Wednesday night, March 10th, I went to Applebee's with my co-workers. Diana said it was karaoke night and she wanted everyone to tag-a-long! Of course, we all agreed!!

All six of us ordered the 2 for $20 deal. I had chicken penne pasta. I usually get the fiesta lime chicken, but I decided to be different. The food was good and so were the drinks. I had an extremely rough day at work and the fruity Sangria hit the spot!!

Also, this is the same night I'm leaving for New York, so this was great way to get it popping! I was a little grouchy when we arrived because I was still upset from work plus I was starved.

At first, we didn't think there was karaoke but then 9:00 came around and they bust out with the karaoke which by then we were ready to go. I had to leave so I could pack.

Overall, it was a fun night.

Side Story:

So, Diana had to use the restroom. However, I was sitting on the outside and refused to get my ass up. WOMP WOMP! So, she decided to crawl under the table and look like a damn fool. I tried to catch Jacinta giving her the side eye her for doing something so damn foolish!

Packing For New York

I recently posted that I am going to New York. I just wanted to say packing is the worse part . . . EVER. It won't be much, I consider this a backpacking trip . . . literally. That's all I'm bringing along with a huge Old Navy green bag (pink).

I'm only bringing a two pairs of pants and a few shirt plus the basic (socks, undies, etc). I'm only there for 2 and half days. Plus, I wanna make sure I have plenty of room for all the purchases I will be making while in New York.

It's been 3 years since I've been to New York. Last time, it was randomly planned this time around it is randomly planned AND ---> I'm going with the same person, Tatianna, I went with 3 years ago.I guess that means history will repeat itself and I will have a great time all over again. LOL!

Three years ago I went around New Year's Eve. I wasn't in New York for the ball dropping madness, but I did get to see the awesome fireworks Philly & New Jersey had to offer for New Years. It was incredible! I manage to get a clip of the fireworks from my crappy phone but it's watchable (is this a word) and enjoyable.

This time around we will be going to the same place New Jersey, Philly, & New York. However, I plan on spending more time in New York because I just absolutely love Chinatown. My gosh, they have amazing deals on clothing,FOOOOOD, etc.

Oh and I will be traveling via Chinatown Bus from Norfolk. I will definitely have to blog about that experience. It was alright the last time around. There were no problems. Praying for the same thing for this trip.

So, wish me luck folks!! Oh, one more thing I will be catching the subway ALONE at like 7am during RUSH HOUR----> GOD BE WITH ME!!! Am I asking for a death wish? LMAO!!

Recently, I have been jamming to Kana Nishino new single, Motto. This song is very popular in Japan. It reached the top 10 on the Oricon charts (Billboard equivalent). That's pretty impressive. I didn't start getting into her music until like late 2008, when she debuted with Tookutemo ft. Wise. I feel in love instantly with that song, her album, LOVE one., not so much. I'm still getting use to the album. I only like 3 out of 14 songs. I've had the album forever, just never got into it, still trying to give the album a chance to reach me. I absolutely love Missing You!! My favorite song off the single. I don't think there is a video for this but it's still a good song.

Oh, and the girl is extra gorgeous. KANA FIGHTING!! ^__^

I never realized how many photos of food I had . . . HMMM! How come no one ever told me I was this greedy (insert sarcasm)? Then again, There is a reason I post so many photos of food. More on the flippy.

Ever since I cam from Disney, I just started taking pictures of food. It was the trendy thing to do. I don't know, maybe it's because I hung around so may Asians. I know that's something they do a lot---->it's the truth. Now, it's my new habit. I can't explain it . . . So, I'm really annoyed with the fact that everytime I grab a snack or something. The damn thing doesn't wanna open. Esecially, if the product is canned and the the tab breaks. . . OMG!

Who knew yogurt packaging could be so annoying and yet so delicious. More---->

I brought the Breyer's Yocrunch Yogurt because I really love the combination of granola and yogurt. They are like the only brand that offers that combo so, yeah I just grab a pack ready to get a smooth taste of yogurt.

No, the Damn granola packaging wanted to act up! LMAO!!The little tab that you're suppose to pull back broke and I couldn't get it open.

I had to take my fingernails and dig into the foil stuff. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Kyushu Japanese Restaurant

Last week, Monday March 1st after work me and Diana went for sushi. She's always craving sushi (weird) so we decided to go since we got interrupted by our Co-workers wanting to eat at El Azteca that Friday.

We went to our new expensive little whole in the wall restaurant, Kyushu. It's great and authentic. A little pricey but definitely worth the trip. This was our second time visiting the restaurant. I can't remember what I ordered last time, but this time we order an 18 piece sushi platter called the Couple (I think).

Usually, when I get sushi, I order just a few pieces almost like an appetizer. Sushi is just not filling as a meal too me. It's good but not for dinner maybe lunch or something.

I ate about 8-10 pieces and was stuffed. Unlike chinese food I was not hungry 2 hours later. YAY! That's a plus. I order dumplings (pot stickers) as an appetizer that helped fill me up a bit.

I had a glass on plum wine (yum yum) and red bean ice cream for dessert.
Total bill $60 for 2 people ($6 tip included).

WOW! JUST FUCKING WOW! LMAO!!

And yes, I'll go there again!

A Natural Beauty

Awhile back (feb 12) I took some random photos because I felt like the ones I took on New years were outdated. LMAO!

Also, Me and Zalieka went shopping for my birthday (jan 21) and racked up on some serious items: Sephora ,Victoria's Secret, H&M, etc.

I bought the most awesome make-up set from Sephora. Zalieka actually picked it up first to see if she liked it but then put it back because she wanted some Dior products. I took it thinking hey this is a good deal! AND IT WAS!

I got the Spehora Editor's pick Bare Essentuals set. It suppose to give you a natural look. It's not over the top or anything which is what I like when wearing make-up. It came with mascara, lip gloss, eye shadow, bronzer, face moisturizer, and eyelid primer. All good products for 40 bucks!

I'm very happy with this purchase. Hehe Oh and I got free Sephora make-up goodies because it was my birthday!! OH YEAH!!

I made this blog so I could post about my daily adventures and fun trips.
I know according to some people (TWINS) I'm always traveling. That's actually not true!! I'm home 90% of the time doing working or sleeping. LOL!

However, when I go somewhere it's an quite the adventure.
